Hi guys! So today I’ll be unboxing, crafting and reviewing the polymer clay bowtie jewelry DIY kit from Take & Make!
I was sent this box to review by Take & Make, and so in this video I make the craft and share my thoughts on it!
Visit Take and Make here for more info about them and to check out this kit as well as their other DIY kits: https://takeandmake.co/crafts/bow-tie-jewelry-set
Visit PuddingFishCakes, the creator of this specific box’s craft, on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/puddingfishcakes
So onto the review!
-craft is simple and fun, perfect for any skill level, even beginners!
-extra chain and jewelry findings are included so you can make 2 sets and give one as a gift (pretty gift bag included!)
-the kit has a lovely personal touch, as you watch the DIYer who designed the box make the craft herself, allowing you to make your own along with her!
-the jewelry turns out just like it is pictured.
-no written instructions to jog your memory of what to do next if you’re not watching the video as you make the craft
-a sharp blade and needle-nose pliers are needed to make the tie necklace in the same way shown in the video, which are not included in the kit.
Desirability of Final Craft: 9/10
Value Factor: 7/10
Overall, I really enjoyed this box! The personal touch is so nice, and the resulting earrings and necklace are perfect to wear with your favouite fall sweater (the navy coloured clay is an excellent colour choice!)
Let me know what you guys think about this box in a comment below, and as always thank you so much for watching!
***Full disclosure: I did not buy this box, it was sent to me for the purpose of reviewing it. That does not change how I approach my review, however, and I am sharing my honest opinion. 🙂
Thanks so much for watching!!
